CoreWeave
Aston Martin F1 Sponsor

How Much Is CoreWeave's Aston Martin Deal Worth?
Part of CoreWeave’s deal is paid in computing power rather than cash, and our figure for the whole package is about $6m a year. Neither side has valued the cloud capacity Aston Martin gets or said what share is money, so that number treats the lot as one sum.
That’s one of the smaller valued deals at Aston Martin. Cohere is put at $4m and Cognizant at $15m, while Aramco‘s reported $75m title deal is more than twelve times bigger.
The $6m deal equals about 10 hours of CoreWeave's $5.13bn revenue.

Official AI Cloud Computing Partner
How the CoreWeave Aston Martin Partnership Works
CoreWeave rents out GPU computing from its own data centers to companies building and running AI. It’s based in Livingston, New Jersey, with co-founder Michael Intrator as CEO, and revenue came to $5.13bn in 2025, although it still posted a net loss of $1.17bn.
At Aston Martin it’s the Official AI Cloud Computing Partner on a multiyear deal. The team has moved computing off its own hardware and onto CoreWeave’s cloud, with AI tools aimed at cutting component design time, and its wind tunnel now carries the CoreWeave name.

Why Is CoreWeave Sponsoring Aston Martin?
CoreWeave signed eight weeks after its Nasdaq listing, at a time when Microsoft had made up more than 60% of its 2024 revenue. An F1 team doing car design on its GPUs gives it an engineering customer to talk about, well away from the AI labs and tech giants it mostly sells to.
The naming rights came on a brand new building, too. Aston Martin’s wind tunnel had only been running since March 2025, so the CoreWeave name went up while the facility was still fresh, and it’s attached to the place where the car’s aerodynamics get tested.

CoreWeave Sponsorship History
CoreWeave’s sports history is short and recent. It began with Aston Martin in 2025, and a deal with the robot combat show BattleBots followed a year later.
CoreWeave and Aston Martin F1 Questions
CoreWeave provides Aston Martin with AI cloud computing, and work that used to run on the team’s own hardware now runs on its GPU cloud. The deal is pitched at faster car design, with AI tools meant to shorten component design time, and the team’s wind tunnel carries the CoreWeave name.
CoreWeave’s package mixes branding with computing supplied to the team, and nobody has said how it splits between cash and cloud capacity. That’s why F1 Salaries treats the $6m a year as one combined figure for the whole deal, with no separate cash fee.
No, CoreWeave and Core Scientific are separate companies. CoreWeave agreed to buy Core Scientific for about $9bn in July 2025, but Core Scientific’s shareholders voted the deal down that October. Core Scientific now backs Cadillac as its data center partner, while CoreWeave stays with Aston Martin.
CoreWeave started sponsoring Aston Martin on May 22, 2025, when the team announced it as Official AI Cloud Computing Partner on a multiyear deal. Its branding appeared on the car at the Monaco Grand Prix that weekend, and 2026 is its first full season with the team.
The CoreWeave Wind Tunnel is Aston Martin’s own wind tunnel, which started running in March 2025 and took CoreWeave’s name as part of the sponsorship two months later. It’s where the team tests its aerodynamic parts, so the name sits on a building that does real work on the car.
