How Much Do Sponsors Pay Teams in F1?

A title sponsor pays an F1 team anything from about $25m to $110m a year in 2026. Oracle's $110m at Red Bull is the biggest reported deal, just ahead of HP's $100m at Ferrari, while BWT pays about $25m to put its name on Alpine.

Below title level, Microsoft's $60m at Mercedes is the biggest deal that doesn't include the team name. Most other partners pay $2m-15m a year, and plenty of suppliers hand over parts, tires, or clothing instead of cash.

Teams rarely publish a fee, so most figures here come from outlets such as RacingNews365 and ESPN, and where nothing's been reported we estimate from the partner tier.

F1 Sponsors: FAQs

An F1 title sponsor pays between about $25m and $110m a year in 2026. Oracle's Red Bull deal is the most expensive at $110m, HP pays Ferrari $100m, and Mastercard pays McLaren $90m, while smaller teams sell their names for less, with BWT paying Alpine around $25m.

Oracle is the biggest team sponsor in F1, paying Red Bull Racing about $110m a year for the team's title, according to RacingNews365's March 2026 figures. HP is second with its $100m Ferrari deal. F1's own commercial partners sign with the sport itself, so they're counted separately.

Title sponsors get the team's name and the biggest spaces on the car, usually the engine cover, sidepods, and rear wing. Smaller partners take the front wing, halo, mirrors, or nose, and many also appear on race suits, helmets, team kit, and the garage walls. The layout changes from team to team.

Most F1 sponsors get far more than logo space. Deals usually include race hospitality, driver appearances, the right to use the team in advertising, and product tie-ins. Oracle runs cloud computing for Red Bull's race strategy, for example, and HP supplies Ferrari with computers and printers as part of its title deal.

McLaren has the most sponsors in F1 in 2026, with 51 partners and suppliers on its official list. Alpine is next on 46 and Ferrari has 41, while Cadillac, the newest team on the grid, lists just 10. Suppliers such as Pirelli count toward these totals even when they don't pay a fee.

The 11 F1 teams list 353 sponsors and suppliers between them in 2026, though some brands appear more than once. Pirelli is on every team's list as the sport's tire supplier, and Visa and Ford Racing back both Red Bull teams. Only 57 of those deals have a figure attached, reported or worked out from the tier.
