Red Bull F1 Net Worth in 2026
PlanetF1’s August 2026 valuation puts Red Bull Racing at $4.9bn, fourth on the grid behind Ferrari, Mercedes, and McLaren, and Forbes had it at $4.35bn in its 2025 list. That value covers the Milton Keynes team alone. It leaves out Red Bull Powertrains and Racing Bulls, and it isn’t a figure for the energy drink business that owns it.
Forbes has 2024 F1 revenue at $618m, the third highest in the sport, yet operating profit was only $26m. Sportico’s model lands close at $628m and $27m. Red Bull Racing’s driver salaries add up to $77.5m this year, and Max Verstappen’s $70m base is about 90% of it.

Red Bull Racing Driver Salaries in 2026

Max Verstappen

Isack Hadjar

Red Bull Racing’s driver salaries come to $77.5m in 2026, and $70m of that is Max Verstappen’s salary, the biggest on the grid. His current $335m contract was signed in March 2022 and runs to the end of 2028, but a new four-year deal worth $419.6m takes over from 2027 and lasts until the end of 2030.
Isack Hadjar’s salary is $7.5m on a one-year 2026 contract. Red Bull has already extended it for 2027 at the same money, so he’s going season by season while Verstappen is tied down for four more years.
Projected years come from signed deals, using reported figures where they exist and estimates where they don't. TBC means that seat isn't signed yet.

What Each Point Now Costs Red Bull
Who Owns the Red Bull F1 Team and Its Parent Company?
Red Bull Racing’s ultimate owner is Red Bull GmbH, the Austrian energy drink company. The parent’s shares are reported as 49% on the Mateschitz side, 49% with the Yoovidhya-linked TC Agro and 2% with Fides Trustees. Mark Mateschitz has held that family stake since his father Dietrich, Red Bull’s co-founder, died in 2022.
The 51% and 49% split that still gets quoted is an old shorthand for that parent, not a stake in the team. Red Bull GmbH also owns Racing Bulls, but that’s a separate team with its own entry, and Ford’s name on the engine comes from a technical partnership rather than a shareholding.

Red Bull Racing Results and Titles Since 2005
Red Bull Racing has won 132 Grands Prix, six constructors’ championships and eight drivers’ titles since its 2005 debut. Sebastian Vettel delivered four straight doubles between 2010 and 2013. Max Verstappen then won four drivers’ crowns in a row, and in 2023 the team took 21 of 22 races.
Counting Stewart and Jaguar adds just one win, Johnny Herbert’s at the Nürburgring in 1999, and no titles. In 2026 Red Bull is third on 355 points with 12 podiums, ahead of McLaren on countback, and Max Verstappen’s wins at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia and in Singapore kept up a run of at least one victory in every season since 2016.

How Red Bull Racing Grew Out of Stewart and Jaguar
The team Red Bull bought in 2004 had already raced as Stewart and Jaguar, and the Milton Keynes factory has been home to all three.
Stewart Grand Prix Arrives
Jackie Stewart and his son Paul started the team in 1997 with Ford engines. Rubens Barrichello was second at Monaco in its first season, and Johnny Herbert won the 1999 European Grand Prix as Stewart finished fourth. It collected one win, five podiums and one pole in three years.
Jaguar Under Ford
Ford rebranded the team as Jaguar in 2000, but five seasons brought just 49 points and two podiums, both third places for Eddie Irvine at Monaco in 2001 and Monza in 2002. Mark Webber joined in 2003. Red Bull bought the operation in 2004, ready for a 2005 debut.
Newey and the Early Build
Red Bull Racing made its debut in 2005 with Christian Horner in charge, and Adrian Newey arrived from McLaren the following year. David Coulthard scored the first podium at Monaco in 2006. Renault engines came in 2007, although sister team Toro Rosso won a race before the senior team did.
The Breakthrough in Shanghai
Sebastian Vettel gave Red Bull its first pole and first win at the 2009 Chinese Grand Prix, leading Mark Webber home in a one-two. Six victories and second in the constructors’ standings made the team a real title threat going into 2010.
Four Championship Doubles in a Row
Red Bull’s first championship arrived in 2010, not 2009, and it started four straight years in which the team and Vettel won both titles. The run peaked in 2013, when Red Bull won 13 races and Vettel closed the season with nine victories in a row.
Chasing Mercedes With Honda
Mercedes controlled the hybrid era, but Red Bull kept winning races, starting with three for Daniel Ricciardo in 2014. In 2016 its Renault engines took on TAG Heuer badges and Max Verstappen won on his team debut in Spain. Honda power followed in 2019 and helped the team to second in 2020.
Red Bull Dominant Again
Verstappen won the 2021 drivers’ title while Mercedes held on to the constructors’ crown. Red Bull took both championships in 2022 and 2023 and won 21 of 22 Grands Prix in the second of those seasons. It had also broken the 2021 cost cap, and a $7m fine followed in 2022.
Mekies and the Ford Era
Verstappen won a fourth straight title in 2024 even as Red Bull slipped to third, and the team was third again in 2025, when Laurent Mekies replaced Christian Horner. Red Bull Ford engines arrived for 2026. After 18 races the team is third on 355 points, level with McLaren but ahead on countback. Verstappen took its first Grand Prix win of the year from pole at Sepang and won again from pole in Singapore a week later.
Your Red Bull Racing Questions Answered
Red Bull’s F1 team is valued at $4.9bn in PlanetF1’s August 2026 grid ranking, while Forbes had it at $4.35bn in 2025. That covers Red Bull Racing on its own. It leaves out Red Bull Powertrains, which builds the power unit with Ford, and the Racing Bulls sister team in Faenza.
Nobody holds a direct 51% stake in Red Bull Racing. The team belongs to Red Bull GmbH, and the 51% figure is an old shorthand for how the parent company’s shares were described. Today that parent is reported as 49% Mateschitz side, 49% TC Agro and 2% Fides Trustees.
Red Bull Racing doesn’t publish engineer pay, but the industry benchmark for a race engineer is around $135k a year, and the most senior names can earn far more. Gianpiero Lambiase, Hannah Schmitz and the team’s other key engineers are covered on their own staff pages.
At Red Bull and across the grid, the number one mechanic is the best-paid pit crew role, on around $100k against about $75k for a standard mechanic.
Working the pit stop doesn’t add a second wage. Former Red Bull mechanic Calum Nicholas has said typical technicians earn nearer £60k ($79.5k).
Red Bull Racing’s two drivers earn $77.5m in base salary between them in 2026. Max Verstappen takes $70m, the biggest base on the grid, and a new deal from 2027 keeps him signed until the end of 2030. Isack Hadjar earns $7.5m and has been kept for 2027 on the same money.
Yes, Red Bull Racing turns a profit, though it’s a thin one. Forbes estimates the team brought in $618m of F1 revenue in 2024 and kept $26m as operating profit, while Sportico had $555m and $29m for 2023. Those are team numbers, separate from the drinks company’s own sales.
Red Bull doesn’t publish a single figure for its F1 spending. The 2026 cost cap limits most team costs to $215m and power unit work has its own $190m cap, but neither is a full budget. Driver pay sits outside the team cap, and Verstappen and Hadjar alone cost $77.5m.
Oracle’s annual fee for naming Red Bull Racing has never been confirmed. Its name has been on the team since 2022, but neither company has published the yearly payment or the end date of the deal, so any number quoted online is an estimate rather than a disclosed figure.
