Suzuka’s 2027 tickets go on sale on November 15, 2026, and every price covers three days. The West Open Area costs ¥22,000 ($140), bench grandstands start at ¥24,000 ($152) at G, and the S Curves, Spoon and hairpin stands cost ¥36,400 ($231) to ¥54,000 ($343).
Individual seats on the main straight cost ¥112,000 ($711) to ¥120,000 ($761). Hospitality starts at ¥600,000 ($3,807), and the VIP Suite Premium price includes tax but not the ¥35,000 ($222) parking charge. All of these are the promoter’s adult prices.
No, Suzuka is one of the cheaper races to get into. The West Open Area converts to $140 for three days, level with Italy ($144) and below Qatar ($165), São Paulo ($191) and Austria ($194). Only Saudi Arabia ($118), China ($72) and Istanbul’s 2021 tariff ($42) come in lower.
The seats are good value too. A reserved bench at 130R costs ¥24,000 ($152), barely more than general admission, and even V2 at ¥120,000 ($761) isn’t far above Miami‘s $695 entry price. Prices are set in yen, so the dollar cost moves with the exchange rate.
Dated Suzuka price benchmarks used with the promoter tariff for the calendar comparison.
Every Suzuka grandstand ticket covers three days, and most are bench seats. Only Q1-2, Q2, V1 and V2 have individual backrests, which is a big reason the main straight costs over five times the West Open Area.
Official 2027 categories, adult prices, seat types and corners, with sales opening on November 15, 2026.
Only the VIP Suite Premium has a confirmed three-day term and a published list of inclusions at Suzuka. The Ferris Wheel Lounge, Paddock Club and R-BOX prices are headline figures, so compare them with care.

Attending the 2027 Japanese Grand Prix costs ¥22,000 ($140) for a three-day West Open Area ticket, before travel and accommodation. Reserved seats run from ¥24,000 ($152) to ¥120,000 ($761), VIP Suite Premium starts at ¥650,000 ($4,125) with tax included, and suite parking costs ¥35,000 ($222) extra.
Suzuka’s West Open Area is worth it if price matters most, because ¥22,000 ($140) is the cheapest way in for three days. The trade-off is that there’s no reserved seat, and for ¥2,000 ($13) more a G stand bench gives you a fixed view of 130R.
Four Suzuka seat types have individual backrests. Q1-2 at the chicane costs ¥63,200 ($401), Q2 at Turn 16 costs ¥105,600 ($670), and V1 and V2 on the main straight cost ¥112,000 ($711) and ¥120,000 ($761). Every other stand, including A2 at the Turn 1 end, uses bench seating.
The best places to see overtaking at Suzuka are Turn 1 and the Turns 16-17 chicane, the two spots where most passes happen. Stands A2, B1 and B2 cover the first corner, while P, Q1 and Q2 face the chicane, and G at 130R sometimes catches bolder moves.
Suzuka’s VIP Suite Premium includes three days in an enclosed, raised suite with a terrace, plus breakfast, lunch and drinks, and afternoon tea on Saturday and Sunday. It costs ¥650,000 ($4,125) on the fourth floor or ¥850,000 ($5,394) on the fifth, tax included, with parking at ¥35,000 ($222) on top.
A three-day Japanese Grand Prix ticket for 2027 includes the Sprint, because Suzuka hosts its first Sprint weekend on April 9-11 and the ticket covers Friday to Sunday. That makes 2027 the first year a Suzuka ticket buys two races, the Sprint and the Grand Prix.
